Marc Bachraty is one of the 3 top Christian Tissier students, along with Bruno Gonzalez and Pascal Guillemin.
Marc Bachraty started aikido as a 16-year old in 1985, and quickly discovered both Endo Sensei and Christian Tissier, obtaining his 6th dan in 2016. He also has a background in judo, Okinawa Goju-ryu karate and Tai Chi Chuan. In 1996, Marc Bachraty started his own dojo in Clamart, in Southern Paris: http://www.acama.org/, giving seminars all over France and Europe.
Many say he is a very gifted practitioner, but he rejects the term prefering dedicated attention to technical work. Demanding but attentive, generous and giving, he has developped an aikido that is rigorous, dynamic, fluid and aesthetic, all the while remaining a down to earth and warm person who shares a lot, both on and off the mats.
This year launched his firts book ''L'Aïkido : Du tatami à l'éveil de soi" in around 100 pages the layout is pleasant, decorated with photographs highlighting gleaned elegant postures to the wire of the techniques. The strong ideas of the text are sometimes included as an insert which allows the reader to benefit from privileged entry points to review the important passages.
You can find it in amazon.com at the moment only in french version.
